Editorial and publishing department
On December 24, 2008 Lviv State University of Physical Culture entered the list of State Register of Publishers, Manufacturers and Distributors of publishing matter. The University obtained its publishing identifying string in the ISBN International Standard Book Numbering System.
On November 5, 2019 Lviv State University of Physical Culture named after Ivan Bobersky received a new ДК №6963 in accordance with the requirements of Article 16 of the Law of Ukraine «On Publishing Industry» in connection with the change in the name of the publishing business subject.
Editorial and publishing department in accord with the Academic Council coordinates publishing activities if the University and provides publishing prearrangement of manuals, methodological guides, scientific and reference literature for higher school and self-instruction. All printed matter has proper publishing support, i.e. international standard book numbers, UDC, copyright protection mark. Compulsory copies of all publications are necessarily sent to the addresses according to the Law of Ukraine «On Publishing Industry».
Scientific periodicals, which publish the results of dissertation research in physical education, sports, physical therapy and ergotherapy contribute to the most important realms of the department’s activities. The periodicals’ copies published by Ivan Bobersky Lviv State Physical Culture University are distributed among the libraries of leading physical culture and sports educational institutions, as well as profile institutes and corresponding faculties.
Editorial and publishing department employees eagerly render assistance to academic degrees seekers in their conducting research and writing papers, thus enhancing the level of experts in physical education, sports, physical therapy and ergotherapy.
Our department team are permanent members of refresher courses. In particular, the department employees participate in educational programmes in literature, in book and editorial business under the auspices of LITOSVITA Centre of literary education. Our editors are members of the Association of Ukrainian Editors.
