University student research competition
On the first tour And All-Ukrainian student research competition was presented 19 papers. Scientific works were considered along the lines: "Physical Education" - 6 scientific papers, "Olympic and professional sports "- 7 scientific papers," Physical rehabilitation "- 5 scientific papers," Tourism "- 1 scientific work.
Student research papers were presented in the following departments:
1. Physical rehabilitation - 5 science works;
2. Theoretical and methodological bases of sport - 4 science works;
3. Theory and methodology of physical education - 3 science works;
4. Sports games - 2 science works;
5. Pedagogy and Psychology - 1 science works;
6. Athletics - 1 science works;
7. Gymnastics - 1 science works;
8. Shooting and technical sports - 1 science work;
9. Tourism - 1 science work.
Based on the analysis of competitive works tender committee decided to forward to participate in the second round of the Competition following the scientific work of students:

2. "The technique of shooting exercises qualified athletes (for example, GP-6)”, A. Demichkovskyy – 5-th course, Faculty of Sport.

1. "Physical rehabilitation of women in second adulthood hypertension of II degree", O. Sosnovskaya – 5-th course, Faculty of Human Health and Tourism.

Ukrainian competition of student scientific works
IIstage All-Ukrainian student research, conducted in February 2010 in Ivano-Frankivsk based Carpathian University of Vasyl Stefanik. The winners are:

Students of Lviv State University of Physical Culture took an active part in
All-Ukrainian Olympiads:
1). Second stage of All-Ukrainian Student’s Olympiad on specialty "Physical Training", which was held in April 26 – 29, 2011, Luhansk, in Luhansk National University of Taras Shevchenko:
Fourth place - Hochachko M. (4-th course, Faculty of Physical Training) - Scientific adviser: Associate Professor Malanchuk G. G.
Twelfth place - the victory in the nomination "The best results of practical competition task» - Povshyk I. - (4-th course Faculty of Physical Training), Scientific adviser: Associate Professor Rymar O. V.
2) Second stage of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on specialty "Olympic and Professional Sport," which was held from March 29 to April 1 in Kyiv, National University of Physical Training and Sports of Ukraine:
Mazina N. O. (5-th course, Faculty of Sport) - second place in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in the specialty "Olympic and professional sports" (Kyiv);
Zadorozhna O. R. (4-th course, Faculty of Sport) - Third place in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in the specialty "Olympic and professional sports" (Kyiv);
Fedorova A. A. (4-th course, Faculty of Sport) - first place in the competition "The General theory of training athletes" and second place in the quiz "Olympic education".

3) Second stage of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on specialty "Physical rehabilitation", which was held in March 29-31, 2011, Lutsk, in Volyn National University of Lesya Ukrainka.

Seventh place - Mysko T. (undergraduate Faculty of human health and tourism) - Scientific adviser: Associate Professor, Candidate of biological sciences Vovkanych A. S.
4) The XXI All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in foreign languages (German language) "Student and Olympic sport," which was held in March 18, 2011 in Kyiv, National University of Physical Training and Sports.
First place on French - Hatsko I. (1-st course, Faculty of Sport), scientific adviser: lecturer Koval R. S.;
Second place on German - Susol O. (1-st course, Faculty of human health and tourism), scientific adviser: lecturer Martyshuk T. P.;
Third place on English - Chekhovska M. (2-nd course, Faculty of human health and tourism), scientific Consultant: Terry Scott Robins.
5) Second stage of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad on specialty "Tourism", which was held in April 6-8 2011 at the Lviv Institute of Economics and Tourism (Lviv).
17-th place - Olga Horshova (3-d course, Faculty of human health and tourism).
19-th - Anastasia Rekubratska (3-d course, Faculty of human health and tourism).

6) Second stage of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in culture, Vinnitsa State Pedagogical University of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi (April 8-9, 2011):
31-st place - Iryna Yasynska (1-st course, Faculty of Physical Training), scientific adviser: Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Gnot S. I.
7) Second stage of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad of subject "Pedagogy", Uman State Pedagogical University of Pavlo Tychyna (April 12-15, 2011):
Third place in the research tour and win in the nomination "For erudition" - Ryzhykova S. V. (2nd course, Faculty of Physical Training), scientific adviser: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Stepanchenko N. I.
8) Second stage of All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad of subject "Ukrainian language with professional direction" (March 16-17, 2011):
Tyrkus Andriy - Diploma for active participation, scientific adviser: M'yahkota I. V. - Lecturer of the Ukrainian and foreign languages.
All-Ukrainian student Scientific Conference
"Physical culture, sport and physical rehabilitation in modern society" Vinnitsa State Pedagogical University of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi (May 12-13, 2011), Litvinova (4-th course, Faculty of Sport) - Diploma for content report, scientific adviser.
During the reporting period, the students themselves and in collaboration prepared over 20 scientific and methodical publications.
All-Ukrainian competition "Tomorrow UA»
Students from Lviv State University of Physical Culture were submitted to participate in the first round of the competition "Tomorrow UA» 10 works.
As a result of the second round students Chuchvara Volodymyr (4-th course, Faculty of Physical Training ) - scientific adviser: Doctor of Biological Sciences Baranetska G. G. and Baytaliuk Victoria (5-th course, Faculty of Sport) - scientific adviser: Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Vynogradsky B. A., were recommended to participate in the third round (final) contest "Tomorrow UA» 2010-2011 academic year. In general, in the competition took part 1,379 students from 68 universities of Ukraine.
