On 27 June, the SKIF National Sports Complex hosted the All-Ukrainian «Strength of Hearts» Competition for the second consecutive year.

Strength of Hearts is a nationwide rehabilitation and sports event for military veterans and service members who sustained injuries while defending Ukraine. The initiative aims to promote physical recovery, psychological rehabilitation, and social reintegration of Ukraine’s Defenders through sport.
Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture once again served as a co-organizer of the event. Representatives of the University’s Department of Therapy and Rehabilitation played an active role by providing participants with professional massage therapy and rehabilitation support throughout the competition.

The programme featured approximately 15 sports disciplines, together with a variety of strength and functional fitness challenges designed to encourage participants’ physical recovery and overall well-being.
In recognition of its significant contribution to the organization and successful delivery of the event, the University was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation. The award was received by Yurii Briskin, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Strategic Partnership, and Social and Humanitarian Development.

The University is proud to support initiatives that contribute to the rehabilitation, recovery, and social inclusion of Ukraine’s veterans and service members through the power of sport.
