International LERMOV Project: Launch of Interdisciplinary Collaboration in 2026

As part of the international project «Learning through Movement! Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Early Childhood and Primary Education» (LERMOV), two online partner meetings were held in January 2026, on the 12th and 19th.

During the meetings, project participants focused on key organizational and content-related issues for the further implementation of the project. In particular, detailed discussions were held regarding the planning of international masterclasses and online lectures involving each of the consortium partners.

A dedicated session was devoted to the evaluation of project-developed materials, which include:

  • methodological recommendations for each of the innovative teaching methods,
  • educational and promotional videos,
  • the project book,
  • the syllabus of the academic course.

As a result of the meetings, approaches to assessing the quality of the materials were agreed upon, along with further steps for their refinement and integration into educational practice.

From our university, Olha Rymar, PhD in Physical Education and Sport, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Culture, was selected as the expert to participate in the evaluation of the project materials.

During the online meetings, the schedule for our university team’s online lectures for students of partner institutions was also approved:

  • 9–10 March 2026 – students of the University of Warsaw;
  • 12–13 March 2026 – students of Maria Grzegorzewska University of Special Education, Warsaw;
  • 9–10 May 2026 – students of Foro Italico University, Rome;
  • 13–14 May 2026 – students of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki;
  • 1–2 June 2026 – students of Wroclaw University of Physical Education, named after Polish Olympians;
  • 3–4 June 2026 – students of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań.

After the online lectures, approximately one to two weeks later, our university lecturers — Dr. Nataliya Sorokolіt, Dr. Viktoriya Pasichnyk, and Dr. Andriy Mandyuk – will conduct on-site visits to each partner higher education institution to deliver the practical component of the training: masterclasses for students and physical education teachers. This combined approach of theoretical and practical training will ensure effective assimilation of the innovative teaching methods and their implementation in educational practice.

These meetings marked an important stage in coordinating the joint work of the partners and confirmed the high level of commitment among participants to creating a high-quality, innovative educational product within the LERMOV project.
