For four days, from March 24 to 27 of this year, as part of the project «Learning by Moving! Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Preschool and Primary Education» within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, lectures were held by representatives of the Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw and the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture.
On March 24 and 25, as part of the project «Learning by Moving! Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Preschool and Primary Education» within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, lectures were held by representatives of the Maria Grzegorzewska University in Warsaw on the topic of the «Move to learn» methodology.
In two lectures, Polish academic teachers covered the theoretical foundations of the characteristics of the central nervous system of children from birth to preschool age, and also demonstrated approaches to identifying certain disorders of the central nervous system using special functional tests.
The «lecture» relay race of Polish colleagues was continued on March 26 and 27 by representatives of the Ivan Boberskyi LSUPC, who held scheduled online lectures. Academician Nataliya Sorokolit, associate professors Viktoriya Pasichnyk and Andrii Mandiuk took part in the preparation of presentations and lectures. The team of our university presented lectures with the results of their own work and the combined methodology «Movement – Coordination – Learning» for children from 5 to 10 years old.
The first lecture dealt with the specifics of implementing a competency-based approach in children’s physical education, the second lecture dealt with the specifics of using various equipment and inventory when organizing physical exercises of various orientations.
European colleagues were also presented with information about the history of the creation and modern organization of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture, as well as the educational and sports facilities of our higher education institution.
