LERMOV Project: Online Lectures at Warsaw Universities

Academic staff members of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture – Doctors of Sciences in Physical Education and Sport Nataliia Sorokolit, Andrii Mandiuk, and Viktoriia Pasichnyk – delivered a series of online lectures at leading universities in Warsaw as part of the project LERMOV: “Learning through Movement: Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Preschool and Primary Education.”

On March 9–10, the lectures were held for students of the University of Warsaw, and on March 12–13 – for students of the Maria Grzegorzewska University. The classes were conducted in English and Polish, which enabled effective integration of international experience into the educational process of foreign students.

During the lectures, 84 students became familiar with the specifics of the innovative method “Movement – Coordination – Learning” and had the opportunity to ask questions related to:

  • the use of balls in physical education for preschool and primary school children;
  • the implementation of competency-based tasks within the educational reform “New Ukrainian School”;
  • the use of special physical exercises to stimulate different parts of the central nervous system, in particular through tasks involving accurate ball throws at various targets and changes in movement trajectory.

In a week, our professors will continue their cooperation by conducting workshops on the combined method “Movement – Coordination – Learning” for students and physical education teachers in Poland. This is a unique opportunity to exchange pedagogical practices and enhance teaching skills in physical education using modern methodologies.

The administration of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture fully supports international academic cooperation!
