On June 20–21, the annual Balkan Athletics Championships, organized by the Association of Balkan Athletics Federations (ABAF), took place in Volos, Greece.

Tetiana Bilyk, a graduate of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture, claimed victory in the heptathlon. The Ukrainian athlete scored 6,061 points and confidently secured first place.
On her way to the title, Tetiana achieved the best results in the 100-metre hurdles, the 200 metres, the 800 metres, and the long jump. She also finished second in the high jump, shot put, and javelin throw.
