On 27 June, the Vitalii Lonskyi Memorial High Jump Meeting took place in Berdychiv, traditionally bringing together Ukraine’s leading high jump athletes.

The competition was won by Oleh Doroshchuk, the leader of the Ukrainian national team. He successfully cleared 2.30 m on his first attempt and 2.33 m on his second, setting the best result of the 2026 world season. He then attempted 2.35 m, but was unsuccessful.
Among the medalists of this prestigious competition was Vadym Kravchuk, a graduate of Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture. Clearing 2.21 m, Kravchuk claimed the bronze medal. Dmytro Nikitin finished second with a jump of 2.24 m.
