On September 6 and 7, 2025, as part of the preparation for the League of Nations, which will be held in October in Baku, the national team of Ukraine in amp football played two friendly matches against the Polish team. The games were held in Krakow, where the Ukrainian team lost to the bronze medalist of the European Championship with scores of 0:2 and 0:1.
These matches were the first for the updated composition of the Ukrainian national team, which also debuted under the leadership of the new coaching staff at the international tournament Amp Futbol Kraków Cup 2025.
It is pleasant to note that the coaching and medical staff of the national team includes representatives of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture:
Nazar Rusetskyi – head coach of the Ukrainian national team in amp football (master’s student of the Ivan Bobersky Lviv State University of Physical Culture);
Bohdan Kulynych – coach (LSUPC graduated);
Andriy Pitulya – goalkeeper coach (LSUPC graduated);
Vladyslav Lisny – massage therapist-rehabilitation specialist (LSUPC graduated);
Bohdan Melnyk – head of the delegation (LSUPC graduated).
