LERMOV: International Lectures for Students from Italy and Greece

Within the framework of the international LERMOV project, «Learning through Movement! Innovative and Interdisciplinary Teaching Methods in Preschool Education,» academic staff members of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture continue active international cooperation and the promotion of Ukrainian educational practices in the European academic environment.

From May 11 to 14, students of the University of Rome Foro Italico and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki were introduced to the specifics of our innovative combined methodology «Movement – Coordination – Learning.» The lectures were delivered in English.

The lecturer was Andrii Mandiuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Culture. During the lectures, students were introduced to the structure, content, and implementation features of the innovative methodology, which combines physical activity, coordination exercises with balls, and an educational component within a unified learning process.

To enhance the understanding and perception of the practical aspects of the methodology, participants were shown educational and promotional videos, which became an important visual component of the lectures during the presentation of the author’s approach.

The organization of international lectures within the Erasmus+ programme is an important element of academic cooperation, the exchange of innovative pedagogical experience, and the integration of Ukrainian education into the European educational space. Participation in international projects contributes to the development of professional competencies of students and academic staff, expands intercultural communication, and promotes modern Ukrainian teaching methodologies at the international level.
